Neroli is one of the most expensive essential oils still in use in mainstream perfume. It is often now used in trace amounts but in the past it was used more heavily as perfume was more about luxury and less about mainstream marketing. This is a luxury Neroli oil replacer which really is excellent and will extend your neroli ten times. The formula does include real neroli oil but you will obviously still save enormous amounts of money using this...

I can’t find a terpeneless Petitgrain oil anywhere, probably only sold by the big suppliers such as Vigon. I guess I can’t use Petitgrain Paraguay or another type of Petitgrain oil?
It definitely comes from Vigon (that’s where I bought mine). Have you asked Christine? Maybe she can do a split with others – there was a really long discussion about it on Basenotes at one point.
Thank you for your good advice as always, I will contact Christine for sure, I’ll ask her to add this one to my list of supplies I need. The discussion on Basenotes: I’ll have to check that one out. Thanks again!
Unfortunately I did not manage to get the petitgrain terpeneless oil, Christine hasn’t supplied it to me so far unfortunately.
Should I increase the Neroli Bigarade instead? Or do you have any other idea’s as an alternative?
Or maybe I can use Bigarade Heart instead of Petitgrain terpeneless..?
Bigarade heart would be a brilliant material to use. I’d 100% go with that.
I’ve used the Bigarade Heart and the result is perfect, this really is a great base and as a fantastic replacer for Neroli oil!
Thanks! I love that Bigarade heart – Robertet is awesome.
