Hi Jamie, just wondering if this would be a suitable starting point for a modern leather based fragrance, in the direction of tom ford’s ombré/tuscan leather? Or if you know of any specific chems that might be involved in that type of base. Have been rather obsessed with leather fragrances recently (:
Definitely. I’m not sure what leather base is used in Ombre Leather – I own it and wear it a lot – I’ll spend a bit of time with it today and see what I can work out.
Just blended this base for future use. This is an absolutely gorgeous leather base Jamie, it’s like wearing a fresh leather jacket whilst stood inside a leatherware shop. Can’t wait to utilize this!
Make sure you let us know how it goes when you use it in something! I’m eager to hear the results.
